Simon Laundon

In my personal work I use basic polaroid cameras as an antedote to my professional work as a commercial photographer and the tight digital mediums this involves.

My main area of fascination is with the urban and the effect of the elements on man made structures, advertising posters and signs. I record the weather beaten and eroded, the sun bleached and abandoned, creating 'new' found artworks from the overlooked and every-day scenes around us.
